The Washington Post reports Graham Gano is trying to win the job as the Redskins kicker this year in a battle with Justin Medlock. Gano finished 2009 as Washington's kicker after he replaced the struggling Shaun Suisham. In four games, Gano was 4 of 4 on field goal attempts; his only miss came on one of his seven extra point attempts. "I've been working real hard trying to get my legs strong and I can definitely tell from kicking out here that I got stronger," Gano said."I'm more fluid and consistent with my approach to the ball. ... You can always work on something, but I feel very good right now."
