Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that Vikings coach Brad Childress attempted to bench Brett Favre in the third quarter on Sunday night.



Our View

The Vikings were leading 7-6 at the time of the attempted benching. "Attempted" is the word since Favre overruled his coach. He is not believed to have been hurt. Are we witnessing the beginning of a meltdown in Minnesota? Don't expect this to be the last you hear of this situation.
