At times during their Week 8 game at New Orleans, it was evident Falcons DE John Abraham was not playing up to speed due to a foot injury he entered the game with. "Abraham's been fighting nicks and thing through the whole year," coach Mike Smith said. "... We'd like for John to be 100 percent but that's not the case."
