Rafer Alston, who had his contract bought out by the Nets today, is expected to be signed by Miami in the near future, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.



Our View

The Heat just traded Chris Quinn to the Nets to shed salary, which likely paves the way for Alston. Alston will definitely have a shot to start at point guard for Miami, bumping Carlos Arroyo back to the bench, so think about adding Skip to My Lou before he officially gets signed and someone else in your league notices.
