When Mike Pelfrey arrives at the Mets' camp next week, he'll be around 25 pounds lighter than the weight he finished last season at, according to the New York Post.
Our View
Starting off the year's training in shape is certainly a good start for Pelfrey, but he still has a lot more to prove before fantasy owners start to take interest. After a decent season in 2008 (13-11, 3.76 ERA, 1.36 WHIP), Pelfrey was pretty bad last year (10-12, 5.03 ERA, 1.51 WHIP).
