According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Twins starting pitcher Carl Pavano has filed for free agency. Pavano finished 2009 with a 5.10 ERA between Minnesota and Cleveland.
Our View
The ERA might not look all that great, but the fact that Pavano was able to pitch a full season without suffering a serious injury is a win in itself. He shouldn't have much trouble finding a team interested in his services for next season.
