Updating an earlier report, Marco Scutaro is expected to sign with the Red Sox, according to Mike Silverman's (Boston Herald) twitter page. It is believed to be a two-year deal, with an option for a third.
Our View
Scutaro will be an upgrade over Alex Gonzalez, but it is uncertain if he will work at second base or shortstop. It could depend on whether Dustin Pedroia will consider moving to shortstop.
