Denny Hamlin qualified third for Sunday's Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway, according to NASCAR.com.

Hamlin is a four-time winner at the track and has won the last two events at Pocono. He started fifth and sixth in those races, and he will start near the front again Sunday. He was already the favorite entering the weekend, and qualifying only strengthened his status.
