As we discussed on the Fanball Fantasy Drive two weeks ago and on the PGA Hot Topics last week, the math shows Lee Westwood is within reach of the top ranking on the Official World Golf Rankings, a spot Tiger Woods has owned for over 260 weeks, according to The Guardian (via Mike Walker with Golf.com).

According to the Guardian report, Westwood could seize the top spot with a win at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational, held next week in Akron, Ohio. For the first time in a long time, the top three are separated by less than one point.
