The Boston Globe reports that Patriots LB Jerod Mayo (knee) will likely miss six weeks with a medial collateral ligament sprain, citing a league source. Coach Bill Belichick was not ready to comment on the extent of the injury on Monday. “I saw him in there today,’’ Belichick said. “I’m not sure exactly where things are at. We’ll see where we are on Wednesday.’’
