Indianapolis coach Jim Caldwell said Wednesday that Curtis Painter remains the Colts' starting quarterback heading into Week 5 against Kansas City. Painter made his first NFL start in a 24-17 loss at Tampa Bay Monday night. Fellow QB Kerry Collins (concussion) was waiting to be cleared to resume practicing with the team after not playing against the Buccaneers. “Right now, Curtis is our starter and Kerry can’t practice at this point,” Caldwell said. “So I’m not sure there’s any need to go into any long elaborate reasoning.”
