The News Anthony Gonzalez is being held out of Colts minicamp, most likely due to the lingering effects of his 2009 knee injury, according to the Indianapolis Star. Our View After he appeared in just one game last season, it's hard to believe he's not yet recovered, but that's apparently the case. That would seem to suggest the handling of his ailment was bungled last season, as there is no reason he should still not be healthy if surgery was not involved.

The News Reserve Packers cornerback Brandon Underwood is being investigated in the alleged sexual assault of two women in Wisconsin, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Our View Underwood, a 2009 sixth-round draft pick, appeared in just 11 games last season. He sounds likely to appear in drastically fewer in 2010. Stay tuned.

Redskins DB Chris Horton is working his way back into the fold after having surgery to repair a toe injury that limited him to eight games last season. Horton is encouraged by his progress, as has head coach Mike Shanahan. "I think he's made some good strides," he said. "He's not 100 percent yet, but he's playing through it when he has gotten sore. ... By the time we get started here in the next couple of months, I think he'll be 100 percent not only with his toe, but being in football shape." T.O. may not get job until camp

The News NFL.com's Jason La Canfora spoke with an unnamed GM who thinks that Terrell Owens won't get a contract until training camp. Our View "I talked to a (GM) within the last 24 hours who is running a team that a lot of people would say has need of a wide receiver," La Canfora said. "He said his team isn't interested in T.O., and he doesn't think anyone will sign T.O. until some time during training camp when an injury forces them to do so." Sounds like it could be a tumultuous offseason for T.O. He'll likely get a gig eventually, but no one is willing to admit to interest right now.
Sanders a full participant at OTAs
Posted in Fantasy Football by Gridiron 578 days ago (http://ownersedge.fanball.com)
The News Bob Sanders has been a full participant at the Colts' OTAs thus far, according to the Indianapolis Star. "I've been able to rehab myself back to pretty decent health where I can actually practice full time," Sanders said. "(OTAs) have really gone well for me. The knee has been doing great. The arm has been doing great. I feel great." Our View Sanders will be a major IDP wild card this season, as he's still one of the most talented safeties in the NFL, though his proneness to injury is clearly a concern. The early reports on his health have been positive, though you should continue to monitor him throughout the offseason.
