San Francisco coach WR Braylon Edwards is expected to miss his third straight game during Week 5 against San Francisco as he continues to recover from surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. He is hoping to return after the 49ers' bye week and be back Oct. 30. "He's coming along really well," San Francisco coach Jim Harbaugh said. "He's got an upbeat demeanor, got a clear look in his eye, and I think he's chomping at the bit to get back. Working very hard at his rehab."
