Tigers closer Jose Valverde remained perfect on the season in save situations on Monday night. Taking that perfection into the postseason, Valverde earned his first save of the playoffs in Monday's Game 3 ALDS win over the Yankees. Valverde walked two in the ninth inning, but struck out one and did not allow a run to cross as the Tigers took a 2-1 series lead.
