Yankees SP CC Sabathia started the Game 3 game in Detroit in the ALDS on Monday night. Sabathia wasn't his usual dominant self in the start, however, as he walked six batters over just 5 1/3 innings. Sabathia allowed four earned runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and needed 106 pitches to get one out into the sixth inning. When Sabathia was removed from the game, the Tigers were leading 4-2. Justin Verlander eventually allowed the score to be tied, however, and Sabathia settled for the no-decision in the Game 3 start.
