The Tampa Bay Rays have acquired reliever Chad Qualls from the Arizona Diamondbacks for a player to be named. The 31-year-old right-hander is 1-4 with 12 saves and an 8.29 ERA this season, striking out 34 and walking 15 in 38 innings, down from a career-high 24 saves last year.
