Tigers SP Rick Porcello got the nod in Game 4 of the ALDS against the Yankees on Tuesday. He pitched six innings, allowing four runs on five hits in the 10-1 loss. The right-hander gave up a two-run double to Derek Jeter in the third before surrendering a two-spot in the fifth. He was done after throwing 85 pitches, 56 for strikes. Porcello also struck out five and walked one in the defeat. "I thought Porcello really threw the ball well. He made a bad pitch to Derek on the double," manager Jim Leyland said. "The ball had good life. He actually pitched well, to hold that team down like he did."
