Phillies RP Ryan Madson picked up his first save of the postseason during Game 3 of Tuesday's contest against the Cardinals. Madson came on in the eighth inning and was able to record the final five outs in the contest. He did allow a run in the ninth inning, but was able to retire Ryan Theriot with the tying run at first base. He needed 20 pitches to close out victory and is now 1 for 1 in save chances in the postseason.
