Brian Bannister likely killed whatever was left of his minuscule trade value on Friday evening, allowing six hits, four runs and two walks in just 4.2 innings of work against the Yankees. Through 113 innings pitched this season, he owns a 5.73 ERA and 1.53 WHIP.

Unless someone thinks all he needs is a change of scenery, the offers for his services should be few and far between next week.
